About the Physics Learning Assistant Program

Since 2019, hundreds of students spanning dozens of majors have served as Learning Assistants in U of I's introductory Physics lab and discussion sections. Undergraduate Learning Assistants work alongside Teaching Assistants in our courses to employ research-based pedagogical techniques to facilitate student learning, while offering peer-peer support.
